Welcome to the Towanda Public Works Department.

The Public Works Department is responsible for the many areas of infrastructure of the City to insure smooth operation of Streets, Sewer operations, Water treatment, and Parks.

 

This task is a huge one, accomplished by the members of this department with a combined experience of over 40 years in the Municipal Public Works field.

The Public Works department also maintains the everyday operation of the buildings owned by the City, Snow removal, City improvements, and Water service .
